Big Hair

Beefcakes of Wrestling author Bruno e-mailed me these pictures of Matt Bomer from "GQ Italia."  Thanks!  According to Wikipedia, he's going to be on "Glee."  I hope it's true, but it's Wikipedia.  Can't you just like, say anything and post it up there?  But in "White Collar," at least in the first two seasons I've seen, he sang twice, and he has a nice voice.  (What can't he do?)  So if they found room for him to sing at least twice in a crime/mystery show, then hopefully he'll sing on "Glee."

If the rumors ARE true, he's apparently going to play Darren Criss' brother.  So dreamy.  In a 1950's kind of way.

Oh!  Now it's being said that they're going to sing together, and they're going to sing Duran Duran.  Shut up!  Happy.

Phil Phriday: Scattered Thoughts

So sometimes life catches up to you and stuff gets all weird and stuff, and you don't go on the computer for a while.  In fact, I'm still not ready for a nice coherent post, so I'll just work on random thoughts.

So the other day I was looking at my thumbs, not as a functioning part of my hands but by themselves.  And imagined them like toes.  Unpleasantly long, skinny toes.  Look at your thumbs and imagine them toes.  (If you're reading this and you have no thumbs, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel left out.  You must be so bummed to miss out on the joys of pinching.)

Oh!  The movie "Gamer" was in the $5 bin!  Hooray for Gerard Butler.  I haven't seen him in anything yet, but damn!  It was even still in its shiny little outer slipcase thing.  And wasn't in there by mistake.  So I'll get around to watching that and let you know.

I'm not the biggest fan of, you know, "icky" movies.  But "Arena" was good practice.  Turns out I can handle icky movies if a hot enough guy is in it.  So I also found "300" for $5, to watch after "Gamer."  (Not IMMEDIATELY after, but you know, sometime in the future.)

Speaking of cheap movies and stuff: Hey discount aisle!  $19.00 instead of $19.99?  Really?  That's your idea of a discount?  It wasn't anything I wanted, just something like one of those blankets with arms in it, with Spongebob Squarepants on it.  So its price didn't really affect me in any case, but I STILL thought it was stupid.

I KNEW Jamie Scott of Graffiti6 was English.  But in the above interview, it was still kind of surprising to hear his accent when he talks, having heard his singing voice.  I love when that happens.  He's so pretty.  (Gerard Butler doesn't strike me as "pretty," which is why I'm looking forward to watching his stuff.  I have different itches to scratch.)

ROH Loves Stay Puft

I KNOW that Ring Of Honor (I typed "Ring Of Homer," weird...) loves me, because on TV Saturday they had Michael Elgin vs. Adam Cole.

Adam Cole is my beautiful lanky jobber.  Elgin is my strong intimidating fireplug who rarely speaks, and has a higher voice than you'd expect when he does, which comes across (to me) as really pretty endearing and cute.  Not that I'd say that to his face.  It was a nice, lengthy match, with a lot of back and forth.  Both of the men have good story going on, too--Cole with his volatile break-up from Kyle O'Reilly, and the weak-minded Elgin getting used by the House of Truth until one wonders how much he can take...  Good timing on Ring Of Honor's part, being so good right now, when it's been weeks since I've watched WWE.  (Incidentally, could somebody please let me know when the Rock goes away and Mason Ryan starts being on again?)  So thanks for this match, ROH!

Phil Phriday: The Advent Of Spring

Crazy weather.  In the eighties last week, when it was still technically winter.  But now there's no denying it's spring (even though it feels like summer), and everybody's feeling feisty.  And that's the New York Bad Ass, not as the kick-ass MMA fighter, but as the uber-hot model.  His pretty face, his gentle eyes--it makes it so much sadder (and hotter) to see him get his ass kicked in the cage!

Kellan And Ellen

In the comments of the post Deathgames, Swim10lift3 guided us to a Kellan Lutz on Ellen YouTube clip.  Thanks, Swim10lift3!  (Can I call you Swim for short?)  To guarantee Swim's effort not go unnoticed (see how easily that rolls off the tongue?), here is the clip he referenced:

There's even a little bit of Aw, Shucks mixed in there. And here's an older one.  Great in a vest.
And now let's up the sexiness by a thousand, by throwing in a love for animals...

All Hail Me

Ha ha!  Thirty-six followers!  I AM THE KING OF BLOGGER!!

Now let's celebrate, with some classic and HOT action of Kevin Nash wasting one of my personal favorites, Scott Hall (courtesy of someone on YouTube; enjoy it before they take it down).

So in my quest to watch Kellan Lutz movies, I've now seen "Arena."  It was pretty good, I thought.  But you know, I like Kellan Lutz.  So part of me was all, "Ew, icky," and part of me was all, "Yeah!  Pumped!"  And Samuel L. Jackson's pretty funny in it.  Okay, it was pretty cheesy.  But it was better than I expected.  And, you know, Kellan Lutz was in it.
