Mark Thomas vs. The Warlord

One problem I find with many jobber matches from the 90's is that plenty of time is given to show the mainstream hero or villain's face from every angle, yet we have to strain our necks in a futile attempt to look through the window of the television screen to get a better view of the beautiful suffering jobber's face.  Eh, c'est la vie.  Besides, beautiful BODIES (like Mark Thomas') aren't so easily hidden.

The Warlord is huge (HUGE) and vicious, a no frills, no nonsense kind of heel.  Mark Thomas is well-built too, but also smiling and enthusiastic.  Mark seems to enjoy his job (or why would he keep coming back?), but he just doesn't have that vicious streak.  The Warlord, however, does, making for a very hot match-up.

Not only is Mark Thomas already in the ring for this (mis)match, but the cameraman can't even be bothered to show his face during his brief introduction.  (Fortunately his back is a thing of beauty, too.)

An effortless lift...

...and toss.

Once again, Mark Thomas must suffer the distraction of a constantly chattering manager, this time Slick.

With a well-placed kick, the Warlord removes Mark Thomas' head.

The destruction is slow and methodical.

...And the Warlord relishes every moment of it.

The Warlord slowly saunters after a suffering Mark Thomas, who feebly and pathetically attempts to crawl away.

There was no question that the Warlord would catch up to Mark Thomas.

....and crash.  By all rights, the match could end here.

...But the Warlord favors a full nelson finisher.

Why go for a pin...

...when you can feel your opponent slipping...

...into oblivion?

Dear cameraman: I will not hesitate to kill you if you cut away from the beautiful Mark Thomas fading into unconsciousness to show us a close-up of Slick and his annoying chatter.

The Warlord tosses...

...away.
