Batter Up

Alright, now that Colton Haynes has had his Inner Jobber spotlight, I shift to his "Teen Wolf" co-star Tyler Hoechlin.  (By the way, it's a really good show.  I'm all caught up now, and wow it's good.  When life's frustrating, it's good to have a good escape, you know?)

Fun fact: Tyler Hoechlin was offered the role of Emmett in the "Twilight" series, but turned it down so he could play baseball.  I'm glad for that, both as a Kellan Lutz fan, and to be able to see Tyler in "Teen Wolf" instead.

Oh, I think I had said the main character, played by Tyler Posey, was whiny and annoying?  I feel bad about that now.  Watching the show straight through, he's much more likable than watching a few random minutes and not knowing what it was.  (Still not as interesting as Colton Haynes' character, though.)  Oh, and apparently for the "Twilight" movies it was down between Tyler Posey and Taylor Lautner for Jacob, and they went with Taylor Lautner.  AND apparently, Colton Haynes tried out for Edward in "Twilight."  So there's this whole weird could've-been "Twilight," but I'm glad they're all in "Teen Wolf" instead.

Young Adult Wolf

So I've only ever seen a few minutes of the series "Teen Wolf" on MTV.  I gather it has nothing to do with the Michael J. Fox movie, or the cartoon series which was based on that?  Do any of you watch that?  The current one, I mean.  I know Joe mentioned it on his blog, Ringside at Skull Island.  I ask because it SEEMS good, but before I invest in a series on DVD, I wonder: The main person who caught my attention is the jerky jock played by Colton Haynes.  He kind of looks like a blond Luke Robinson/Donnie Drake (I thought anyway).  So if Joe or anyone else who's seen it happens to be reading this, is he in the show enough to get the DVD for that?  I'm hoping so.  Because the main hero character seemed a little whiny and annoying to me.  But to be fair, I've only seen a few random minutes of it.  Maybe he'd seem better, less annoying, watching it straight through, and understanding what the heck was going on.  But in the meantime, here are some more images of Colton Haynes, who actually is in his twenties and only PLAYING a teenager, you know, like they do on "Glee."  So wrestling fantasies and scenarios are totally OK.

Hot And Compassionate

Always a winning combination.

Oops, there's not a dog in that picture!  What's that doing here.

His book is good too.

Kellan And Kate

(Not Beckinsale, unfortunately.)  Mad props (is that still a cool expression?) to Bruno for sending me these images of one of my favorites, Kellan Lutz, from...okay it's a big weird modeling name that I don't know and I have to double-check...Dylan George And Abbot + Main's Fall 2012 Campaign.  With him is Kate Upton (cute in that "bored model" kind of way).

Masters vs. Reks, Round 5

Tyler Reks started things off with a victory, but since then, Chris Masters has come back with THREE WINS of his own.  As the feud reaches its climax, will Reks manage to tap into his dark side to somewhat even the odds, and avenge his bruised ego?

Round 5: Superstars 03/24/2011

Masters: 4; Reks: 1

As tough as Tyler Reks undoubtedly is, the hirsute brawler was no match for the powerhouse Chris Masters and his dreaded Masterlock.  The feud brought out a fierceness in Masters, but Reks' own fighting spirit was never diminished.  However, this war could only have one winner, and it is the Masterpiece, Chris Masters.
